Tango is a modern, elegant logic puzzle based on the balance of two elements, often represented as suns and moons (or crosses and circles).
The puzzle shares some DNA with Binairo, but introduces unique constraints and visual relationships that make it a distinctly fresh challenge.
The grid must be filled so that every row and column contains an equal number of suns and moons.
No more than two identical symbols can be adjacent vertically or horizontally. Additionally, Tango features '=' and 'x' clues between cells. An '=' means the two cells must be identical, while an 'x' means they must be different.
Always start with the '=' and 'x' constraints. If an 'x' is next to a known sun, the adjacent cell must be a moon.
Use the 'three-in-a-row' rule: if placing a sun would create three suns in a row, you must place a moon instead. Pay attention to cell pairs linked by an '=' sign—they will heavily restrict your options.
